Web page focuses on Tempe’s efforts to seek federal grants

Tempe, Arizona – The City of Tempe has launched a Web page to provide information on the federal stimulus grant opportunities the city is pursuing or has received.

Tempe is exploring federal grants, including funding from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, for projects related to water, transportation, culture and education, energy efficiency, infrastructure and other city services. The process of applicatin, evaluation and awarding of grants could take more than a year.

The Web page lists Tempe projects that have received funding to date and it describes the projects for which the city is pursuing funding.
